Well it's that time when the new year has started and everyone has new year toys to play with. My friend Joanna got a new camera (pictured) it doesn't come out very often, much to my displeasure.
This is my New Year's Toy an Ipod !! I play with it often & can watch movies and listen to music & surf the web. It is truly a blessing. What's your New Year's Toy ?!

Ello everyone I had an awesome New Year up at a -10 or lower ski resort, with my Fiancée and her wonderfull family. We set off some fire works, which i had fun photographing, played many games, enjoyed the hot tub & of course i had another go at snow boarding. I hadn't snowboarded since 2001, in High School & it turns out I remebered how to do it, but my weak little legs, simply couldn't cope very well with my new weight class (I was a stick in high school). Anyway, I was the sorest, I've ever been in maybe forever. Well I'm off the mountain and not snow boarding for a while, and deeply happy and content. *sjb
After 2.5 hours at the boarder, I visited some friends in Washington and had some fun with a red telephone booth. I actually Literally got my face blown off that day with the chilly wind. I loved the wet coldness of the place. I meet up with some non-Aussie Aussie friends and we had a fun time. well back to having a holiday for me.

well folks I just got back from thunder-stormy Darwin. I was there for a week helping out the base there with there web site this is there current site & the new one will be up hopefully after next week !! So i loved it, my trip was a little long, going through Brisbane & getting there at 12.30 at night, but they had such great hospitality & they are all warm & friendly so i had a great time. I saw lightning & a building with a mustache, some old friends like Jesse from my DTS & made some one's. Dave & Mia are awesome people, i hope and pray my time there was a blessing & God would use this new web site to bring more people into His missionary ranks, & ultimately more people into His kingdom
here's some photo's on the adventure, for all of them click here

& Just as a awesome coincidence Amanda Leanne (my girlfriend) was coming through Darwin, while i was there !! Her team just got back from outreach in Jakarta & i got to surprise her at the airport !! We went for coffee the next day & had a dinner date watching lightning storms from the wharf. It was great & a huge blessing God is a genius !!

After a short overnight rest in Townsville, we wher off again to Cairns stopping by my parents house in Tully for a cuppa. We made it there by night fall & prepared ourselves for the new adventures ahead. Our first gig was out at Gordonvale at a school called . It rocked out and they encouraged us so much. Shey, our lead singer, said something about Jesus being our hope & all of a sudden, there was a loud cheer from the crowd to show an agreement and truth that Jesus is indeed our hope! It was such a blessing to hear and that school was doing some amazing work!
Then the middle of the week we had some time off. One day, we had all our shows fall through, so we prayed all together, made some calls, got in a the van, and headed out to Mareeba. We ended up playing an acoustic version at a primary school. And then that afternoon, went to my Grand-dads nursing home. Joanna at one point said that this was likd of like Stephens childhood tour. I was born in Mareeba, and my parent’s met in Mt Isa, lived in Tully but went to Cairns a lot. Anyway, so that was good, We had a lot of KFC on this trip to which people by this stage where sick of.
Then our last day we played at Freshwater Christian Collage, a bit north of Cairns. It was our “perfect gig” and these group of highschoolers fit our show the most. The kids got really into it and jump around during our songs. Then after the serious video, explaining the issues of injustice in our world, there was a hush, that you could tell they where affected by. And at the end of the show, the grade 12’s got to talk to us. They were just so cool & going at it for God. Our other gig was in the house of the family we where staying with and they where such a blessing to us. They where Samoan and had many kids! We played for their youth group one night & went bowling with them too so that was super cool.
So that’s the end of the tour. It was really good and we got a lot of encouragement that were doing a good thing. We just can’t wait to see what God will do in the hearts of all the people we met. I hope & pray for some to come here, but more importantly for all of them that heard our message, that they would do something… To change the world, with the gifts God has given them!! Thanks for reading and Bless you!
